Why we are so passionate about Africa

The Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ) presented AddYouCation as one of their charity partners for the 9th Afrika-Tage München.
Diversity, strength and colourful traditions were the focus of this cultural event. The reason many people leave their home country can be attributed to the fact that there are no future perspectives for them there. This is something the festival also aimed at foregrounding.
Africa is so unique because the seemingly straightforward idea of access to education can provide the foundation for democracy and a better future.
In the words of Dr. Kwegyir Aggrey (teacher in Ghana, 1875 – 1927):
„If you educate a man, you educate an individual.
If you educate a woman, you educate a nation. “
