Closing day of our exhibition

The closing day on 22 December 2009 culminated with a successful evening attended by many guests. We sold further pictures by the photographer Joachim Schmeisser – and donations came in thick and fast. The proceeds from the sale of the photographs was 12,890 €. And our donation box in the hall contained 1,143 €. As well as this,the exhibition itself raised 4,750 € in donations.

Some Munich schools brought whole classes to the exhibition. We were very happy to hear the good discussions and questions, and see the great interest from the pupils. That was an important send-off for our involvement in Ghana – and left us in a very pleasing financial position at the end of the year. Thank you!
