Event in Berlin

On Saturday we are going to sell many special things like tiny teapots, weird t-shirts and much more in Markthalle Neun in Berlin. Each taken cent of our bazaar will benefit the homework project of Loyal e.V. in the district of Kreuzberg. Bring your friends along, enjoy some delicacies and the great atmosphere of Markthalle Neun.

The NGO Loyal e.V. offers a second home for about 40 children and youths in its youth centre close by Kottbusser Tor. Among others there is a homework supervision as well. But unfortunately the funds are lacking to secure this learning aid continuously. Although the need is really huge: The children in the Loyal e.V. place hardly meet the requirements at school, many of them are not able to bear the pressure to perform. And their families can’t afford private learning aids at all. Particularly for the preparation to the final tests of secondary school the homework supervision is an essential help – a graduation presents the only chance for a secure future.
